How do I recalibrate EMO’s touch sensor?

by | Jul 27, 2021

There are some reports of people having problems with EMO detecting that they are petting him. The team at Living AI shared with me a process that can be used to recalibrate EMO’s touch sensor on the top of his head. I’ve highlighted the petting sensor on top of his head and then below that is the video that shows how to recalibrate it.

Glad it helped Mick – on my EMO’s it’s been fine all along, and I think that I actually “broke” mine a little before recording that video 🙂 You might notice that at the start – he didn’t recognise my petting of him at all.

    Hi Wayne,

I tried and he recognized the hard push as petting. But unfortunately not the soft strokes afterwards. So it did not help… Cheers, Joerg.

Ok – thanks for that Joerg, I would suggesting trying it again and if that does not work, contact the Living AI team then via [email protected] and report to them. They might have other things to try that I don’t know
